Katherine enjoys family activities and volunteers frequently at her children’s schools. She is an avid hiker and skier and takes advantage of any travel opportunities that come her way.

Biography

Katherine Frederick is a Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Master of Science in Nursing from George Mason University. She is Board Certified through ANCC and has experience working with adults and children in settings ranging from community clinics to executive health. In addition, she holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and worked in international health and development before pursuing a career in health care. Her professional interests include preventive medicine, cardiovascular risk reduction, and travel medicine. She and her husband have both served in the US Foreign Service, spending many years abroad.
